There are 3 color-coded models of graduated resistance. Yellow is for extra light tension with 3 lbs. of pressure per finger. Blue is for light tension with 5 lbs. per finger for average hands. Red is for medium tension with 7 lbs. per finger for stronger-than-average hands. This great little exerciser is a tool that no musician should be without!
